It's FRIDAY!!!!!!!

It sure is Friday.

I am sitting here hoping DD's fever doesn't return.
Have to run the dishwasher
Take out meat for dinner
Fold a basket of laundry and put it away

That might be it today, I was up from 2-3:30 with a toddler flopping all over the bed since I put her with us after she woke up...she finally fell back to sleep at 3:30 and I fell back to sleep at 4 to have DH get up at 5.

Got a load in the dishwasher
Got a load of wash (coloreds) going
Need to put away laundry from yesterday
Change the bedsheets
Get the kids up, dressed and fed
give quick mini driving on snow, slick streets lecture to teen before he leaves (late and half asleep) for school.......

I have SOOO many things to do today. I'm going to divide my time into 30 minute segments. If I concentrate on schoolwork, I feel guilty about housework and not getting Christmas stuff done. If I do the other stuff, I feel bad about not getting schoolwork done. So....30 minutes of each until my schoolwork is done.

Schoolwork
Christmas cards
Dishes and counters
Laundry (1-2 loads)
Move wood into garage/woodpile (its in the driveway at the moment)
Make cookie dough (do schoolwork while its chilling)
Store?
Cook beans for pintos/refried beans (forgot to soak them last night...ug)
straighten up livingroom
Sweep floors on main level
bake cookies(?)
Dinner - tacos/burritos
wrap some presents
finish decorating (village, mantel, kitchen)

All this subject to change depending on hubby's 1 year neurology follow up.

I found motivation and cleaned DD's room and took all the baby toys out to store for the next one....she is no longer a baby and is growing up so fast.

Its so cold and I do not even want to go out to do errands but I have to get more butter so I can finish making cookies. So I will run to the grocery and while I am there pick up a few redbox movies for tonight.

Organize my desk/file stuff away
Get stamps
Wrap presents
Finish baking cookies

Off to work. Then Husband and I are going shopping for one of those external hard drive doohickies because I'm pretty sure our 8ish year old computer is about to poop the bed, and I think it's probably beyond trying to send away for repairs. Are we the last people running Windows 98? We're going to have to try to find someone knowledgeable to ask lots of questions about how to do this. And then if all goes well, I suppose I'll be backing up the computer later tonight.

I finally reached the end of the internet!! ("Does not use time wisely" still applies Miss M. 6th grade teacher )

Looking forward to tasting the open road again (which can happen living in the Ham Capital of the World! )

Decided not to risk taking the tractor to town after Wed's tractor mishap - but what was funny - Tow truck guy said "you could take the tractor to town as long as you keep to the back roads!" Like he was reading my mind!!

Car place said it should be done tonight - but not too happy when I got their estimate Starter & Alternator!!

Gonna drown my sorrows in a big bottle with my new BFF - Mrs. Buttersworth.

And maybe I'll clean something!!

So far, I've folded a basket of clothes that I didn't feel like doing yesterday. 1 load of towels are washed and in the dryer. 2nd load is washing. All beds are made and breakfast dishes done.
Put all the goodwill stuff by the front door so when my sister toots the horn in about 30 mins, I'm ready to go.
We're going to Goodwill, Walmart, CVS & Rite Aid (maybe stop at Rouses to get a few things for Sunday) In no particular order. When I get home from running errands, I need to make a batch of Artichoke Balls. I've been putting it off all week.. now I *have* to make them today, just won't have the time tomorrow.
DH is taking me out to dinner tonight for my birthday.
