I got a droid and man the coupon apps. I love them. I am trying to find out how to scan the little black and white squares on all the boxes and stuff i see in the store. I only got this phone for the coupon apps.

Yep... Barcode Scanner.. then you can use it to scan the boxes!

Call me a little bit dim, but what is the purpose of scanning barcodes in the store?
I just got a Droid, and I have the barcode scanner downloaded, but what do I do with it?

I found qr barcode scanner. You get deal and coupons off the barcode sometimes. There is also a app that will find the cheapest gas/ food in your area. And keep track of you shopping list.

I downloaded a barcode scanner, but I sure can't get the darn thing to scan, anyone have a trick for that? The coupon apps, do the stores in your area take electronic coupons? I haven't seen any store in my area that does.

All in my area that them. Target will even scan my phone.

I am way too dumb for a smartphone....that's why I still use a good old flip phone that was discontinued about 3 years ago.... it has speakerphone and can take a photo - that's all I am equipped to use!
