up early in anticipation of getting the kids ready for school this morning.
First day back is usually not a very pleasant one :(

Well, it is for parents
but not so much for students and their teachers ;)

nothing much today. I've already made the beds and tidied up after the kids left for school & dh off to work. What I really need to do is spend time with my coupon binder!! I won 2 weeks in a row of the football pics contest and I have coupons everywhere!
Had company yesterday, so didn't get a chance to drag down the Christmas decorations, so I might attempt that later! Oh, and I need to make a run to CVS.

At work.. really needed an extra day off after working Friday and Saturday 12+ hours each day but Im just counting down until Friday. Im off and cant wait.

Right now, griping at Husband about the wastefulness of just having the tv on in the background. Dude, it's just playing the same "news" on a loop. Find something to watch or turn it off. So wasteful!

I'm still crocheting and elbow deep in other crafts I'm trying to get done before Christmas.

Monday = Laundry Day!!

Honestly, I woke up with tons of energy!! In the hour and a half between my husband leaving for work and the teenager leaving for school, I got 2 loads of clothes washed and one dried, cleaned up the kitchen from breakfast (and last night's snacks), made the bed, made my list for Walgreens, stuffed and sealed 5 trade envelopes, emailed my sister, ordered Toy Stoy sheets on line, purchased Restaurant.com certificates, and boxed up some books to sell at Half Price Books.

After the school bus left, I took a shower and headed to Half Price Books, Walmart and Walgreens. I got $11 for the books I took in. Then found 2 watches at Walmart (for the grandkids) for $15 total. I had a $10 GC, so those gifts were free!! Bought stocking stuffers and hair dye at Walgreens.

Now I'm finishing up the laundry while I make lists of the gifts I have, so I know what I still have to buy. It's raining!! I want to do more shopping...but I hate walking out in the rain!!

Well it has been a slow and gloomy Monday, the kids woke up and I got them breakfast, they have been watching cartoons. We will be going to the elementary school later for my 3 year old's speech therapy, I might get started on my christmas cards. Currently I am trying to get my 1 year old to take his mid-day nap

put away some Christmas stuff
wrapped gifts
made some trades
laundry
typed in my Coke points for the week
met with a friend for a couponing chat
(another one addicted ;)
picked up my little guy from school
and now we are having lunch and watching Santa Claus is coming to Town (the old cartoon)

Basically sitting on my butt. I feel really lazy for doing it. Looking for toy deals shopping deals and catching up reading posts.. lol. I get up to change the laundry and I really need to work on getting the house in order before the crew checks back in for the day. On the bright side of things my 3 yr old has been doing really good at using the potty all day so I feel like even though I am home bound sitting on my butt we are accomplishing the potty training task. I think I am going to sign off for a while get this place straightened up figure out what I am making for dinner. Then maybe the 3 year old and I can put the tree up for the boys to decorate after school.

It's getting so dark so early now,
I am able to get the kids bathed and ready for bed
and hang out on HCW :)
