I need Ebay advice, My buyer wants a discount!

I am so sorry you are going through this. I always put in my description all the details like new without tags so there is no confusion. I had a buyer one time tell me they were so mad because the flea collars I shipped were out of the boxes and they couldn't resell them. I told them I am sorry they were upset but in my auction I put in huge, red, bold new without boxes but in the original plastic. I put it in there 2 different paragraphs. I also stated why I did it so they would get cheap shipping because those boxes take up alot of room. They reread my auction as I sent it to them to see and apologized and said they didn't read carefully and that is was their fault. I got great feedback from them immediately so I left them the same since it worked out and I didn't lose any money. Of course you can't leave the buyer bad feedback anyway which I think is wrong of ebay. I don't think you are allowed anymore to do a partial refund so she will have to send it back to you before getting a full refund. I have offered a full refund before and said I would reimburse shipping and the buyer was so impressed at my "willing to go the extra mile and friendlieness" they said never mind and gave me great feedback saying that. This happened 3 times in the last several months. All sometimes someone wants is to have a choice and then decide not to do it. I hope that is the case for you too.

I would let her file a claim myself. For then you can offer her the refund and ebay will require that she get a DC to send the item back to you. That way she cant just say she sent it. This way if she leaves you a neg feedback ebay will remove it for you because there was a claim done on the item and you did work the problem out or if she dont agree with your refund offer and to send the item back on her dime then you win the case and ebay will still remove any neg feedback she leaves.

If you just agree to it in pms they will not remove any neg feedback...
