    Thanks for the advice ladies!
I know it's not night terrors cause my oldest had those and this is different.
I am hesitant to think it is an allergy or something since he has had whole milk for almost a month now, whether it was mixed with formula or oatmeal or whatever. Today, he had normal pooping. I stopped the Archer Farms Organic and just tried regular whole for the first time with his oatmeal and no reaction. Gave him regular whole with a bit of formula at bedtime, so we will see if he wakes up the same way at 3 or 4, like he has the last two nights.
I hear what you are saying about WIC. I understand why they aren't more flexible, but wish they were, lol. With my middle daughter, we gave the whole milk to my mother in law and bought her organic. It was a personal choice, nothing she responded better to or anything like that. Money is tighter now, so we just figured we would go regular with the little man, but we'll see how he reacts.
Will keep you posted :) Thanks for the advice! It is wonderful to have some mamas to talk to!

He was teething a few weeks ago (back molars already! he is like a shark with all these teeth already, lol) but I checked today and nothing new is popping up. No other foods have been introduced, just less baby food and more soup and things like that. But nothing new. When he sleeps, he sleeps awesome. When he wakes up with what I am assuming are pains or something, he is still sleepy but tossing and turning and throwing himself around crying. Once we feed him or settle him (which takes awhile), he is back to sleep good. No other changes except for the brand of milk and the last weaning from formula to whole milk.

True milk allergies have poop issues. If there's no poop issues, it's a sensitivity, so you either don't give it or limit it. Most people are sensitive to milk because it's not really meant for humans, but we still continue to drink it.

Any new milestones he's hitting lately, like trying to walk? I'm trying to think outside the box as to what could be causing that kind of crying outside of food. My DD who is 2.5 woke up last night at 430 doing lots of whining. I tucked her back in, but it took another 45 minutes and me going back in twice more for her to settle back to sleep. She was overtired because yesterday she had no nap, and we had a really busy day of shopping. If she's overtired, then she wakes up and is up for 45-60 minutes.

I would think too you would notice those in the formula (either a true milk allergy or milk protein intolerance)...other then possibly the lactose...AND lactose issues typically don't show up in infants..they come on in toddler years or after.
