Does anyone else have or have you had a hubby who freaked out over turning 40? My hubby is usually very grounded and ambitious but has lately decided he hates his job (which he once said he loved so much he would do it for free) and has started acting very strangely. He has started complaining about everything and acting very sad and whiney lately. This is SOOOOOOOOO not normal. He is normally rather macho and stoic so this is completely out of character for him. Any ideas on how to help him through this?

Sounds like a mid-life crisis to me. Does he have things on his "bucket list" that he didn't get accomplished?

I always say embrace the MLC as long as it doesn't involve things that are dangerous to you, himself, or your marriage.

Yep that is what is sounds like to me also...maybe change things up some,have a extra night out or something.

Thanks. I think it is a midlife crisis too. He seems to be feeling better this week so we will see how it goes.
