I love the smell of popcorn! For some reason we rarely eat it at home, but always get it at the movies.
Tonight I stayed at the dance studio because my daughter has been sick. And as luck would have it she was fine so I spent a long boring 5.25 hours there for nothing! They did do Thriller tonight which I always like to see. Anyway...
One of the dance teachers made microwave popcorn. Oh the aroma of it! Made me really crave popcorn.
Every time we go into Target we have to get popcorn. I swear theirs is the best tasting and freshest ever. They sure do sell a lot of it!
I find it hard to resist at the movies as well and then I always kick myself because theirs doesn't taste so good. My mom always insists that we go to the first showing of the day. For some reason she thinks there are less people there. I don't think so. And I think they keep the popcorn from the night before. It rarely ever tastes fresh.
At home I like to pop my own using a combination of oils that I buy from American Spice. If I am out of those I use coconut oil with a little butter flavoring in it. Sometimes I will put real butter on it but I find I really prefer it without the butter. I love sea salt on it too.
I do know a few people who can't stand popcorn. One woman the other day said she couldn't stand the smell of it. Another one hates it because she broke a tooth on it. But me? I can't resist!

Proud mom to an adorable two year old little boy!
Please excuse my spelling-my LO is on the loose and just learned how to climb-so I am typing as fast as I can!
While I don't "hate" it, I am not a big popcorn lover. I could care less to have it at the movies (I'm all about the candy though ;). Just never been a real big fan of it.
I eat it maybe once every couple months...but we always have a box or two around cause DH likes it way more than I do.
#1 due Sept. 5th
We love popcorn, but I have to say I disagree about Targets popcorn. We think it is the most disgusting popcorn we have ever eaten.Maybe different areas use different kinds, pop it different, something? We use to do that Icee/popcorn deal all the time because it was cheaper than getting an icee by itself, and then we threw the popcorn away.

Raising children(especially teens) is like being pecked to death by a chicken
In my defense, I will only bid human beings in the auction forum if it's a MM.
I don't care for popcorn and never buy it. Every once in a great while, we go to the movies and I'll share some with my husband, but if I were alone, I wouldn't even buy it. I don't like the smell of it, either.

I love the smell of popcorn (unless someone burns it and then the smell seems to permeate a 5-acre area) but I never eat it because I would want a lot of butter on it and since that's not good for me I just skip it. I guess it's kind of like coffee for me - love the smell but don't drink it.
I have kept it around for years though because the youngest enjoyed it but she hasn't touched it in quite some time. I think I'll remind her today to try and use the rest of those packs of microwave popcorn.

Even popcorn not slathered in butter makes me happy.
I keep some in my desk usually for afternoon snacks. Right now I'm on a bad batch of Smart Balance popcorn that's pretty unseasoned and no fun. Orville Reddenbacher is my favorite.
So yes... Microwave popcorn makes my tummy grumble, too. I love it!
mmm...I recently had a salt and pepper microwave variety....yummy
DS loves it. I'll eat once in awhile but I popped soo much working in a bar part-time that I hate the smell of it.
I had sanity once upon a time I promise. It was just so long agoooo that I can't remember it
.
If I'm not already hungry before I smell it and I don't eat the smallest morsel, I'm ok. One kernel passes my lips and it is OM NOM NOM ALLTHEPOPCORN!
