Yep, I know exactly what you mean. We - as in our whole family - do that here all the time and I have a file of our favorites.

A couple of days ago I suddenly remembered the way Jean Stapleton, as Edith in All in the Family (not sure if you're old enough to know this show from the 70's) sang on the theme to the show, when she screeched that one part and I HAD to look it up. It was even funnier than I remembered.

Hope this makes you smile because I totally laughed out loud on this one.....

It's been so hot here all summer that I haven't had to mow the grass much, but now that it's cooling off and we've gotten some rain it was way past time to mow. I've had the lawn mower on the front porch for a couple weeks intending to mow but being completely lazy about doing it. So finally Sunday morning I get up, mow the front lawn and put the mower back in the shed in the backyard.

Fast forward to Monday evening....I'm on my way home from work and get a call from DS22,
"MOM! Did you know the front yard has been mowed and the mower is gone!"
Me: "Yes, I mowed it yesterday"
DS: "Oh, ok, I thought someone stole the mower"
Me: "Ummm, I don't think if someone was going to steal the mower they would have taken the time to mow the lawn first, but it would have been awful nice of them!"

We both got a good laugh outta that one!
