You'd be surprised. I know several people that only wait tables on the weekend. And you can make $11 easy per hour. Waiting tables is hard work but you can make good money if you are good at it. Bartendering is another option.

Try a hospital. I work for a major healthcare organization and there are lots of positions at my facility that are only weekends. Some of them are even 12 hours shifts so you would get your 24 hours a week. You may just be able to get your $11 an hour too. Even more if you are willing to work the night shift. My organization pays 20% shift differential.

Waitressing will require her to work shifts she doesn't want - during the middle of the week. They won't bring a new person in and give them a coveted shift like the weekend when all the tips are made... it's just not likely to happen - those shifts go to the people who pull alot of the undesirable shifts and to people who have worked there for years. And you wouldn't get anywhere near $11 an hour waitressing.

I guess that would depend on the area she lives in. I live in a high end area that is full of tourist because of the wine business. It would be possible in this area because you are lucky to get out under a $100 for 2 people. My daughter has teenage girlfrriends that make more than that and only work Friday and Saturday evenings.

I waitressed for the better part of 10 years and I have to say I averaged WAY more than $11 an hour. More like $14-$16 per hour. I live in AZ and we only get $2.13 an hour. Here's the deal, I refused to work Friday or Saturday nights. I worked at TGI Friday's and I'm not sure if you have been there on a Friday or Saturday night, but we generally ran 10-12 servers on the floor. I worked Sun-Wed or Mon-Thur only.

Try a hotel! Seriously! I've worked in the hotel industry for almost two years, and it's not too bad. A lot of them hire you to work a rotating schedule, but some (like mine) want someone specifically to work just on the weekends.

Hmmm interesting....Ill look into that. Ive also seen banquet help advertised and that stuff usually goes on on weekends.

Just read your wage requirements. Honestly... that's near impossible. I have exp. in the customer service industry, hotel industry, working in various animal related settings, have an associates, and am almost finished with m BA with two very difficult/sought after majors... and I can't draw $11 an hour. The economy just isn't as good as it used to be to make that possible.

Nothings impossible, here in CT their are jobs paying that wage....I use to work seasonal in a fulfillment warehouse that paid well. But I didnt like the commute, another stipulation. It wasnt worth it in gas.
$11 an hour is not a lot of money. My stepson whos in college works at Lowes part time making 11.41 an hour

Their are well paying jobs out there, you just have to be creative like Im trying to do!

sell on amazon fulfillment,you send the box of goods to them, they ship, pack for you and they transfer to your checking account. so basically- buy what's hot/discontinued and resell.

I REALLY like this idea because I enjoy shopping....and I need to get rid of some things.
I didnt know Amazon had this option Ill have to look into it.
