I just broke my laptop.....

wahh.....I am so sad, I just broke the screen on my laptop.....I can partially see things but its going to need to be fixed. Thankfully I could see enough to turn on my network sharing So atleast I can see all my documents and favorites and everything from hubbies computer \

Now to see how much this will cost to fix....

I broke the screen on mine a few months ago, and it cost me about $100 to fix. I bought the part on ebay and fixed it myself. It's a pretty new, good spec laptop, and it's my primary computer, so it was worth it to get it fixed.

Daughter broke her netbook at the end of last school year. She just bought a laptop which she likes a lot better. We may get the netbook fixed at some point. The shop is in Seattle and I rarely ever get out there.

well we talked to someone this morning and they said anywhere from $100 to $150 to get the screen and replace it for us. I can do that.

Doglover-----i will still be following you lol, i have my husbands laptop, as well as a desktop...i also have my ipod, but so hard to type and read on that thing.

But yeah, I love my laptop, has all my music, photos, documents and everything on it. but with the network i set up I can access all that from any other other computer in the house :)

Sorry. A few years ago, I knocked an entire glass of Mt. Dew in my laptop and had to replace a 6 month old laptop. I was not a happy camper!
