Buying new in package toys from individuals rather than stores We all know the kinds of clearance finds the bargain shoppers like us come across in regards to toys. I know in the past I have sold new in the package toys to recoop my costs for items I wanted to keep for gifts. Now I'm on the other end of that equation. I've been finding new in package toys significantly discounted on Craigslist and at local yardsale/flea markets. The items are all new and in perfect condition, but hubby made a face when I told him what I had purchased from a local person today: both new in package Littlest Pet Shop Guess Who game and a Disney Princess Royal Horse (Belle's horse).
Do you consider this smart shopping towards Christmas/birthdays, or is it just cheap to buy toys from someone instead of from the store?
