There is a good drawing salve called boil-ease that is OTC.

How is it doing? I wouldn't be able to keep my hands off that - I'm a compulsive popper!
FYI if anyone ever gets a boil below the waist area, sitting in a hot bath for as long as possible every day will cause them to burst and drain naturally, which is the best way.

Looks like staph to me - in which case you would need an antibiotic. Staph will get big and very painful quickly.

If you do get an antibiotic, for this or anything else, be SURE to complete the program of treatment. Not finishing is asking for trouble because only the weaker germs will be killed, the stronger ones will stick around and start causing problems again.
