I am torn between being sad and trying to remember the messages of hope. I saw today on ABC one of the reporters mentioned that although so many lives were lost, this was the biggest human recovery event ever in our country. So many lives were saved due to the bravery of not only professionals but regular, ordinary citizens. I think that more than anything speaks volumes about our nation. I remember!

I too remember. And I will also, NEVER FORGET. I will never forget those we lost (I lost a friend), the Firemen and women, the police officers, the civilians and everyone who came to help the great city of New York. They came to help find survivors and then to help find those who were lost. They came together when we as a UNITED NATION needed it the most.

Also, please always remember our service men and women who are fighting for us. They are fighting for our country and for our freedoms that we all love and hold dearly to our hearts. We have already lost too many.

I never thought that in my lifetime I would see something that would rewrite our history books, that would scar this nation so deeply that even after 10 years, tears still stream down my face as I write this.

We are a nation who is indivisible and we still stand strong and we will continue to show who we really are!

We ARE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

I remember, it is so sad.
