    Default 1st Anniversary gift ideas

Next month we will be celebrating our 1st anniversary. We are renting a cabin again for our get away but I am at a loss for a great gift. The "traditional" gift is paper, trying to think of a way to incorporate that. He has a million hobbies (most of which are expensive) so I don't know what to get there.

He gets off easy, I love Halloween (we even had a Halloween wedding) so each year he is going to get me a special decoration.

    Thanks :)

One thing you can do is get a card and list 1 reason why you love him, next year, two reasons, the next year three, etc. I have done this with DH, for his birthday, and he loves it!,

kschick96 has a really cute idea!

I made my DH a coupon booklet for our first anniversary that was pretty funny and he loved it. Trying to remember now, but a lot of the 'coupons' were of a nature to be special to us because they recalled an event of our first year of marriage, but would sound completely bizarre to anyone else. One that might translate well to anyone was the one that said "One coupon to be the one who is right, even though you are wrong in any discussion of your choosing". DH got quite a laugh out of that one!
