My hubby got a new job!!!!

And I wanted to thank all of you who have prayed for this to happen!

I posted this yesterday in the "positives" thread, but I just felt like it needed to have it's own thread. Mostly to make sure that the people who have been praying hard for us will know that their prayers worked!!! I didn't want them to miss this!

Here's what I posted:

My husband got a new job!!!

It's:

20% more per hour
10% more hours (old place: 36, new place 40)
84% less miles to drive (old place 100 miles/day, new place 16 miles/day)

He'll be director of maintenance at a 100 bed nursing home, and he starts the day after Labor Day.

I know for a fact that some of you here have been praying that this happened. And I want to thank each and every one of you! Our goal now, is to see if it's possible for me to quit working soon. (I hope!!!!)

I know!!! Last month, he spent $260 on gas...and 90% of it was driving to and from work!
