The "C" word sucks! I am sorry that you are going through all of this........**HUGS** to you!! Your family is my prayers! :)
*Venting*
I am completely exhausted from crying. I never ever ever in my life did I think my mom or my dad would get sick. I HATE the freaking "C" word and I HATE that the doctors gave her 2 years, even with chemotherapy. I feel helpless and I hate that my mom and dad are worrying about how they are going to come up with the 20% co-payments for her medicine. Its NOT FAIR!!!
I want ANSWERS! I want CURES! I just want my mom to be around for another 50 years!
I don't know how I am going to get through this.![]()

Sending prayers to yu and your family
6/26/2010 I LOST the best part of me.
There are many forms of death - you can die physically, you can die mentally and you can sadly die from loneliness.
((Hugs)) to you. 'C' sucks. I'm so very sorry for you. I, too, would be a mess. No other words can help you, but know that we are all here for you!

I am so very sorry to hear that ilove2shop. I am praying for your mother as well as yours CWM mom. Praying for you both as well as your families. Cancer is so very horrible.
So sorry you are hurting so..... My prayers to you and your family.
You will be in my prayers. Cancer is really horrible and it seems more and more people are being diagnosed with it these days than ever before. I have to say that two things have really amazed me by the cancer patients that I have seen: Their strength - whether it's a child or grown adult going through chemo - I am amazed by their inner strength and will to live! I often wonder if I would be able to have that kind of strength if I got that diagnosis. The other thing that really amazes me about alot of cancer patients is their attitude - many are very positive. I also am a firm believer that the positive, "we will beat this disease" attitude plays a bigger part then people realize in one's recovery and ability to beat cancer.
My prayers are with you. The C word does SUCK!!! Someone very close to me is going through treatment too. The prognosis is not good either. She has one shot at chemo and radiation and if that does not work..well she does not have long.
Hang in there and try to spend as much time with your mom as you can and tell her you love her.

I am sorry you are going through this right now. My dad was diagnosed with cancer about 2 years ago. It was a very very hard thing for me to deal with. My dad took the diagnosis the best out of all of us. He said he would be fine and not to worry. That was hard for me to do being his daughter and working in the medical field. He was diagnosed with throat cancer and was not a smoker. They thought it was from chemicals he had worked around that he never wore protection around. In all my years growing up my dad never would sing. Maybe a word here and there to the radio but that was it. Well karaoke had become a bid part of his life about 5 years before he was diagnosed. He was really bummed and thought he would never be able to be sing again. He went through chemo and radiation and went through the ups and downs of it. I truly do think his postive thoughts made things easier for him. He was such a trooper. I am happy to say he has now been cancer free for just over a year and is back to his karaoke and sounds better than ever.
Postive thoughts and prayers go a long long way. Not just for them but for us as well.
