did not know where to post this

Many years ago we had our home with washington mutual I get a letter telling me there is a class action law suit against them, I called the number listed and it was just a recording, I went to website and there is no number to call.

They requested some info, loan #, phone,e-mail an our signatures nothing else but I am still kinda leery.How do I know this is legit.
