Can you believe it!?!

Only 30 days until school is back in session.

Should I start making the kids go to sleep early?
Can I cram in 12 weeks of reading and writing lessons in before then?
Can I get that "excited" feeling, so that somehow I can transfer it to the kids?
Is your "baby" starting kindergarden?
Is your "baby" starting his/her senior year?

What are you all feeling???

my little girl is going to be in a new school this year shes excited but scared.

My baby is starting high school and we are sooooooo not ready for that :(

My boy is going to 1st grade we are in the process of looking to move and I hope we find something in the same area and we don't have to drag him out of school .In the last 3 years he been to 3 different schools- Preschool -Kinder ready and Kinder He made friends all 3 years and didn't get to see the same people- crazy the same town but so big . Anyhow I am more scared than him lol!!

My precious baby girl wil be a senior in high school. I never want summer to end; I love having them home.

We have more than 30 days here. School didn't let out till the end of June. Daughter has been home with a back injury and can't do much standing or walking. So... I will be happy when school starts and I can be alone for a while! Right now it's like me and my shadow.

We have already bought everything for regular school. Still need to find pre pointe shoes for dance and hope that the Dr. will give her the clearance to dance, if only with restricted movements.

I just hope the school doesn't change the list like they did last year. And that the dance studio doesn't change the dress code like they did last year. I hate spending money on stuff we wouldn't otherwise use. Like book covers and long footless black tights.

I have to get my son's IEP arranged.

I have to get his oxygen concentrator arranged.

I have to spend a good $1000=$2000 on a refill unit to refill oxygen tanks for him to send him to school with.

I have to purchase a pulse ox for school.

We have to figure out how he's going to be transported safely for school when it's really hot.

We have to figure out how he's going to stay hydrated and where to keep his cooling vest in school.

I have to get orders for oxygen, for medications and such for school.

somehow I have to figure out how on earth I'm going to keep him awake during the day.

I'm pretty much a basket case about it. too much to do, little control on a lot of it, a lot of it very expensive, and I have to depend on other people to do there job, and that is extremely hard for me to do (next to impossible) because I have had to be the one to keep him alive these past 5 years and now I have to trust someone else for much of the day.

did I mention I'm a nervous wreck.

Did I mention though ...he'll finally get to play with kids his age! He has never had any friends besides his siblings. Last year his ped asked him who his friend was...during his yearly check up..to see if he could answer, not realizing he doesn't play with other kids.

He mentioned a child he had gotten to play with one time 2 years before that lives 2 states away. That was the last little boy he could remember playing with.

I'm so happy for him that he will finally get to play with kids his age. They'll all get him sick...which will suck. But he can't go on like this.

I am not ready for the kids to start school. I love having them home during the summer. Most of my friends can't wait until school starts since their kids are driving them nuts but I will miss mine when they start school again

DS will start 7th grade and will officially be a middle schooler (here they have a school just for 6th graders so last year he was not in middle school yet).

DD will be in 4th grade. I still cannot believe it. What happened to my baby girl????

I started shopping for DD. I have all of her school supplies and some clothes. Just need to get a few more outfits, shoes and a few odds and ends.

I will start shopping for DS when he gets back from camp. He needs new shoes and clothes. There is not much he needs for supplies.

My son started 8th grade today!!!!! I can't believe this time next year he will be in high school!! I am only 32!!!!
