Mmmm brownies!! I'm on my way!

Come on down!!! The "boys" are all outside. We could eat the brownies before they even noticed!!

DH, DD (age 2), and I all went out yard-saling today. We hit several yard sales in one day. Got DD two pairs of shoes (new) to grow into for fifty cents each, a Dora t-shirt dress for fifty cents, two boxes envelopes (half-full) for .25 each. DH got three movies he wanted for only fifty cents each.

I stopped at my usual Motomart to get the early edition of the Sunday St. Louis Post-Dispatch. They weren't on the usual shelf by the door, so I asked. The cashier had them behind the register, as there have been too many thefts of Sunday papers lately.

Came home and took a nap with DD on the couch, cleaned the kitchen, now I'm about to go give her a bath, and just relax.

Still recovering from pneumonia so I did not do as much as I wanted..

DH and I planted some new bushes and trees in our front yard
3 loads of laundry
Cleaned a bit
Swept out the garage

The rest of the afternoon DH and I just relaxed on our porch with our dog which is something we haven't done in a while and it was so nice. Beautiful day to be outside.
The kids were both at a friends house all day.

I started the morning getting the kids up and making them breakfast before heading to a 9am gym class to meet DH. (He was there for a 7:45 class 1st.) DD was such a bear before the gym that we didn't stop at any yard sales until after the gym.
Enjoyed the late breakfast DH made for after my yard saling.
Cleaned the kitchen from his cooking and went to a few more yard sales. Ended up with a few good cheap buys: a saucepan with lid - never used for $2 (DS needed one for a crystal-making kit he got -- how's that for a gift that needs something to work -- a saucepan with lid that is not used for food -- worse than batteries, right?). I also got DD a few Barbie accessories -- she chose and got them free LOL, a 50¢ pair of shoes for DD, and my favorite: 4 new Tupperware orange peelers for 5¢ ea (I always lose mine).

I read a magazine, and uploaded photos from our recent trip to Chicago. It took forever to upload and order photos at walgreens.com. I needed to order pics for ds'd bday thank yous and to send to my grandma and other relatives. After that, I made a late lunch for DH & me (after he woke up from a long nap)

Then, I went to Smith's for bananas and goldfish and picked up some marked down produce. Stopped to get photos at WAGS.

Headed home to check the computer and veg out -- it was blazing in NM today. I addressed DS's thank you notes.

DH made burgers and grill fries with green chile and cheese. Mmmm.....

Picked a few weeds, checked the garden, played with the little dog, played Barbies with DD....

Now, I should organize and file my coupon binder..... Wonder if I will....

Lets see what did I do today:

Got up made breakfast for myself,and a little something for D.H.

Ate left overs for lunch

Swept/ mopped the kitchen

Vacuumed the house

Fed the animals

and am finishing dinner as I type this.

Will see if D.H. wants dessert after dinner since he isn't a big sweets eater.

Trimmed the dog's pads and nails. He's 14 years old and a bit ataxic to begin with; hairy pads make it hard for him to get around on hard floors.

Yelled at another dog about 7265836 times. I'm so used to old reliable dogs; it's been quite a ride having a puppy and now adolescent in the house. Such a sweet girl, but oh my, what a knuckleheaded goofnut. This is the dog that completely annihilated my couch last week. She thinks her name is DAMMIT TANGO!

Made the absolute gee golly best frappuccino in the world. Eat your heart out, $5 a pop coffee shop.

Put fresh, sun dried linens back on the bed. Mmmmmm.

Now goofing off on the couch.
