What did you do today?

Cara and I are hanging with my two best friends and their kids, so all I did today was nap and keep my kid from beating up my bestie's kids.

Driving and lots of it. We were on vacation in VA, and we're currently in NY almost CT. Girls are watching Tangled, and Im trying to get caught up here!

Well I hang washed 3 loads of clothes.
Hung them on the line to dry.
Folded them and put them up.
Washed and dryed 2 pillows.
Washing 2 more pillows.
Made cookies.
Picked up the house.
Gathered eggs.
Feed the chickens.
Filled their waterers.
Read at least 20 books to the kids.
Cleaned out my binder and brought it up to date.
About to go make supper.

Aww....I was impressed! I was thinking...I wonder how she does that? And...those animals must be really calm!!

LOL I was wondering if she could teach me some tips for my angry old cat! And those rubber backs from the earrings, you lose, mine breed!! I have way more than I have earrings...I wanna know, where are all my earrings going??

Today, I didn't have to work, so I slept in! Then we all napped :) Now, have to get ready for a BBQ at my brother's. Pretty relaxing Saturday, I'm meditated :P

If you are bored, you can come to my house! I have plenty to do over here. I am still working on laundry, 2 loads down, 4 more to go. cleaned the living room and kitchen. Still have to move a bunch of stuff downstairs, make dinner, oh, and write a 1500 word economics paper!

I got a new washer and dryer on Thursday and I LOVE them.
I got this set:
Shop Samsung 3.7 Cu. Ft. Front-Load Washer (Tango Red) ENERGY STAR at Lowes.com

Shop Samsung 7.3 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer (Tango Red) at Lowes.com

and 2 pedestals.
I got the pedestals on clearance and since I was willing to take the floor model I got a killer deal. I paid $700 for each the washer and dryer and only $25 for each pedestal.
I am sooooo happy!!!!

Well...as I was typing my answers, my husband was talking to his brother on the phone. He invited them over for hotdogs on the grill. So, instead of the two of us, I was thinking...what am I going to feed 2 more adults and 2 teenage boys??? Thank goodness for my stockpile! I just got done making pasta salad and brownies...and "doctoring up" some baked beans. All we needed were some buns!

Well, from 9am until about 11:30, I was running DH all around town on an errand. Picked up the two DDs, the MIL and went to a small family fun festival (carnival food,local organizations drumming up support and overpriced bouncy toys)... Oh yeah, also spent waaaaay more than I wanted on lunch for the 3 of us ($26 for burgers and fries?? really??? I paid that?? omg!!!) and $20 for 4 ice cream cones??? I really need to stop this madness!! Came home and tried napping for 2 hours, couldn't sleep and have been down here on the pc, doing emails and looking for recipes.. Gotta figure out dinner, get muffins and cookies in the oven at some point and clean my kitchen (it's grossing me out!!)
