HI What is your grocery budget?

    Hi All!

    What is your grocery budget?

How many people are in your family?

What does the budget include (ex. paper products, alcohol, bathroom/grooming products or just food)?

    Thanks!

Currently my budget is about $500 - $550 a month. There are 4 of us during the week and 7 of us on the weekends. This includes everything we need and use. Food, personal grooming, pets etc. Trying to lower the budget so this weeks plan is different just cause I am missing out on double q's when I am busy driving the cashier at WM crazy with price matching and q's.

Our family budget is $150 two weeks a month and $175 the other two. We have 8 in our household and the budget encompasses food, paper prod, cleaning, and HBA.....basically everything except the baby's diapers (her mom and dad pay for those). We know that in Sept my husbands hours will be cut back, therefore the budget will be also. I am stockpiling as much as I can now and spending our full budget to get prepared ;)

Ours is about $350 a month for a family of 5. That includes all toiletries and extras. I usually stock up as much as I can, so I don't have to spend a lot at one time. Last month I made the mistake of planning a menu, and totally messed up our budget, so we'll spend a little extra this month. Figures! I'm just glad I had a stockpile built up. My husband used to giggle at me when I talked about the deals I had gotten, but I've got him doing it now!

$10 a day for my family of 4 (me, DH, and 2 DDs who are 3 and 2). It includes everything - food, drink, diapers, cleaning supplies, HBA, and paper products. We have no pets, we don't drink alcohol, and our eating out budget comes from another source. DD2 is lactose intolerant, so we buy soy milk, but we have no other food allergies.

Four of us, $300-400 a month. I could do better than that if I didn't have a full time job, and/or really committed myself to taking advantage of all the deals. I just don't have the mental energy for to bring it down more than that. That includes toiletries, dog/cat food & litter, etc...

Keep in mind that some people can double and triple coupons which really helps out alot.. where others cant do either.

For me its different each week some weeks its $50 to $100 others I dont go shopping at all. I have a stockpile now so soemetimes we just dont need anything or want anything that is on sale that we have coupons for to add to our stockpile..for the most part its about $300 to $400 a month for a family of 6, LOL two teen boys, two 4 year olds and to adults then I usually have a extra teen or two that is not mine for say...

Before coupons and my learning how to shop i was spending about $200 to $250 every week...

Here in the land of no double is CA I spend about $100 - $125 a week for a family of 4. I have gotten pretty good at getting good deals on HBA stuff but still trying to get better deals on food items when things are on sale and trying to use coupons with the sales going on.

We don't really have a budget. There are two of us who live here all the time. Husband is here for a week maybe every month to month and a half. He eats a lot so I pay a lot more for food when he is here. He also uses a lot of toilet paper. Like over a roll a day!

Today I spent about $260 between three stores. And I am not done shopping. There is one item I couldn't find and will have to go to another store for that tomorrow. Will also go back to one store because their new sale starts on Wed. They have a deal on soda that I can't pass up.

Today I bought a lot more than usual because I got a new chest freezer. I bought enough ice cream and other frozen treats to last at least a month if not more. Husband also eats a lot of ice cream so if he were here that would last maybe a week. Bought enough potato products and breakfast items for at least 2 months if not longer. And several vegetables, side dishes, meats and meals. Should last quite a while. I am already well stocked on canned goods.

I will need to buy some more cheese. And I will need to buy things like bread and produce that don't keep for very long. Am also well stocked on paper goods.

I will also buy coupon items if I can get a very good price on them. Don't currently have many coupons I can use. Have a ton of yogurt coupons but we don't eat a lot of that.
