Check in for Massachusetts members after yesterday's tornadoes
Is everyone ok after the storms and tornadoes that went raging through Massachusetts last night? 4 people were killed, thank God there weren't more fatalities. I don't know if they have a count on the injured yet. And there are still a lot of people without power.
We are about 45 minutes north of Springfield, just over the NH line and we didn't even really get any wind here at all. Lots of rain, lots of thunder and lightning. The storm appeared to be over, and then out of nowhere our power went out for over an hour.
I know mayakelly our BigY mod is down in that general area, hopefully she is ok. she was on late last night so I hope she's still ok today.
Not sure how many others we have from that area, but I'm really hoping that everyone is ok!!!!

Re: Check in for Massachusetts members after yesterday's tornadoes
I posted in the MA couponers Social Group as well to check in. I know we have a few members out that way. There is a great deal of need right now. Many people without homes. Luckily only 4 deaths but I don't think there is the attention to this outside the area that other tornadoes have gotten. I don't think anyone in MA will take another tornado warning lightly.
Please consider donating to Red Cross or the Salvation Army and if you're in MA and can't donate money, there are some other opportunites to help. The Salvation Army hasn't posted yet that they are looking for non perishable food items but some of the food banks are. Check the end of this article here.
