Do you have a phone number to contact the company personally? I find with some of these companies a person on the phone has to respond faster then an email. Got luck hope it gets resolved and you get your money.
I wasn't really sure where to post this but I'm not HUTC (yet lol) so I'll just put it here. I am waiting for a payment from February from a Mystery Shop company I have been working with for almost a year now. I have never had an issue with them before and have received other payments since. They agree I am owed the $ but have not sent it to me. I've contacted the scheduler and the person who sends out payment notifications and noone has been able to tell me when the $ is coming. It's only $25 but to me $25 is a nice chunk of change right now. I like to do everything in writing so I've been sending emails but now I've not even gotten a response to the last 2 emails I've sent.
I don't want to burn a bridge here (especially because now they owe me money for another job that I should be receiving later this month) but someone has to make them respond apparently. If I can't get any resolution this week, I want to contact someone outside the company.
Who should I contact? BBB?
Thanks
Tara

They are probably waiting to be paid from the company that the mystery shop was for. If they agree they owe it to you and they've been around awhile and reputable, then just try to be patient another month or so and see if this issue resolves itself.
I would try calling them. I have contacted the BBB twice for 2 very extremely poor business practices. It really was a joke and did not in any way help in the resolution of my problem. Perhaps someone else has had a better experience using the BBB to intervene. The companies I dealt with did not seem to care that the BBB was involved and there really isn't much the BBB does other than note how the company responded to the problem, so it only helps if the company cares about their rating.
You might contact the AG in the state they're located in to see if there's been other complaints about them. They also might be able to give you some advice on any online contacts. Like Angies list, but for online companies. I seem to recall something about an online BBB type thing, but that was quite awhile back, so don't know what became of it.

Ok I tried calling them and wouldn't ya know the scheduler who I originally was dealing with moved to sales so I guess he dropped the ball. But the office manger talked to someone else and they say they will get this processed and get me a check this month. I am going to definitely make a note in my calendar for this though since I was told last month I'd get paid. Thanks guys!
