I live in Orange. Yay for me

We are right above Red...funny little story. But my daughters school is near the Oklahoma Border. We were there for a Choir concert and the weather outside was awful. The principal was listening to the weather radio making sure we were going to be okay. He came on and announced that we should be fine because all the tornado's were in Oklahoma the person next to me..."um were like a half mile from the ok border...not so comforting" Luckily we made it out okay.

So what color is your area??
We don't have a color, tho we're between two green areas. We've had a couple of hurricanes (Last being Agnes) and some tornadoes but not serious ones...that's about it. I'm in So. central PA

I was surprised they're not counting Washington state's volcanos but do include earthquakes...didn't look at Hawaii

Hard for me to tell, but it looks like SE Pa is light orange/orange. That surprised me, I thought we would be lower. We do get N'oreasters, the occasional blizzard and some bad thunderstorms. Once in a blue moon there is a tornado nearby. There is an earthquake fault about 3 miles from my house but it has only been active once since I was little. The outside steps to our basement shifted a bit, but there wasn't any other damage.

I'm not sure of my precise location on that map, but suffice it to say I'm in central FL so hurricanes abound. Supposedly. Since I moved here in July 2005, there have been zero. We've had a few weak tropical storms, but no hurricanes. And this is the area that several went through just a few years before I came. I tell DH that I forbid hurricanes here because there's no way I want to be without power for days/weeks in the summer heat. It's worked so far. *knock on wood*
    I'm Teri from central FL
