There is a thread here somewhere, not sure where, that's titled "what do you put in your kids lunches?" or something similar. I'm pretty sure there were lots of suggestions there.
Stuck in rut with lunchs. Please tell what you like (or you pack for hubby or kiddos) to take for lunch.
Bored with salads, sandwiches and leftovers.

I get bored with lunches too. I like boiled eggs, cheese and triscuits, cut up mini cucumbers, or carrot sticks with (or without) ranch dip. Yogurt is always good too. Clementines are easy to pack as a snack.

cut shapes into their sandwiches (same old sandwiches but cool with cookie cutter shapes)
wraps ....you can add a little of everything including veggies to make it fun
apple chips (i say this after dh polished off two bags in the time dd's took a nap) or other dried fruit
fruit with strawberry/cream cheese dip (you mix strawberry yogurt and cream cheese together it is yummy)
granola (homemade)
for adults, do leftovers or a better salad. i had a salad the other day that was awesome. lettuce, pineapple pieces, strawberries, and sunflower seeds (not salted ones) and feta cheese. it came with salad dressing but didnt need it.
home made chinese
shrimp on skewers with dip
try to do a "theme" lunch......or get a book on making cool sandwiches or panini's at goodwill (i see them there all the time) and try something new each week or more.

I have recently started eating Jennie-O turkey/ham for lunch with a vegetable. It is great regarding fat and calories. I get it at my local Super -1 Foods grocery store. The cost is usually about $5 and it is already cooked. Just needs to be heated. Definitely worth a try if you have not already. I recently bought one for $5.23 and after a mail-in-rebate it will end up only costing $0.23.
