Swiffer - How many pads does it take to clean your floor?

One of my co-workers has complained of the same thing recently. She switched to using the Shark (I think) and loves it.

i used to use the swiffer but found that buying the liquid and the pads came out pricey for me so i stopped using it. besides that the handle broke twice on the 2 swiffers that i bought! but when i used it, i would use 1 pad or 2 when the floor was really dirty.
