TN - it's Coke at my house even though we drink DDP most of the time. When we go out, we order Diet Coke w/lime even if it's Diet Pepsi. My nephews like Dr. Pepper or Pibb, so they order "Dr. Pepper" and they order "Mt Dew" even if it's Mello Yello.

The shopping cart is a buggy, refrigerator is refrigerator, tampons are tampons, tissues are all kleenex even if they're not, gelatin is always jello, butter means margarine, any kind of athletic shoe is a tennis shoe, jock strap (what is an athletic supporter? :-)), women's underwear are panties and men's are underwear (DH hates it if I call his panties), gotta pee @ work and gotta wee wee if I'm with my parents or even #1 & #2 for the different restroom options, it's a bathroom at home and a restroom anywhere else.

My dad calls a brown paper bag a poke. Ever heard that?
Mom had medicine that she was supposed to take @ breakfast and dinner. Well, some places in the south refer to the 2nd meal of the day as dinner and that's how I was raised. I now have breakfast, lunch and either dinner or supper depending on whether we're eating out or not. The sort of funny story about Mom is that she mentioned needing to take her new medicine at breakfast and dinner in front of my sister who put her on the correct path of taking it in the morning and evening instead of with the 2nd meal of the day. We got a good laugh out of that but was happy she didn't take her meds wrong.

We have breakfast, lunch and dinner. A long time ago when I was at a new job the people told me they would teach me something "after dinner". I screamed and said I am not staying here all night! They said dinner is at noon, I told them dinner is at 5 pm or so. LOL

In FL, everything was coke. In LA, I hear soda mostly...but I still say coke.

    Shopping carts are always buggies.

Even though I live in Tennessee everyone I know calls it coke no matter if it's pepsi or coke. I am from Ohio originally and they call it pop. My BF of 5.5 years is from California and they call it soda. I call it mainly soda now, but when I visit my mom I call it pop because she does.(she lives in Tennessee, but she visits Ohio quite offen because all my family is from there.)

Shopping carts to me are buggies.

This is what we do too. Obviously we ask for orange if we want orange or Dr. Pepper if we want Dr. Pepper when ordering. The servers here rarely ask if you want Pepsi instead of Coke, but since I don't like Diet Pepsi, I always ask what they have since the only Diet drink I like is Diet Coke.

We call it a refrigerator, sometimes "fridge" for short.

All 3........usually Potty because that's what we always called it when DD was younger and just can't break the habit.....I believe DD uses Restroom at school and I use Bathroom if I don't use Potty
Pee.........I know my grandma used "tinkle".....that always used to make me chuckle when I was younger

Yes, my DD read a book last year and they had "dinner" at lunch time and "supper" in the evening. Never had heard of that before.

We always had Sunday Dinner-which was served later than lunch but earlier than supper on Sundays (usually around 2:00 or 3:00)...Supper was always served at 5:30 at my house when I was growing up.

I have 3 boys and one of them plays baseball...we had to buy a cup and supporter...That is why I asked, we just got (another) one this past weekend.

My grandma would say to the dog "Lobo, time to go wee wee" that is where I got that from. I don't so much remember her saying that when I was growing up. We always use the potty and still do, I think it is cute that my hubby still says it even though our youngest is 11yo and I think he says he has to go to the bathroom (along with my other older 2) and I will say pee.
Butter, I typically don't even have margarine in the house, but if I told my husband I needed butter from the store I can rest assured he will bring me home sticks of real butter.
We wear sneakers on our feet or shoes. I tell my kids to put their shoes away that means sneakers because I only have boys and that is all they wear.
    Jello and Kleenex....

Here in NH we call it soda..

My dh moved from Canada to Ohio when he was in the 7th grade and lived there for 2 or 3 years before moving to Massachusetts and he still comes out with some weird things.. (weird to me lol)

the first time he ever said something about sweeping the living room I thought he was nuts because we have a rug and usually I vaccuum.

In Indiana it is pop, but in Alabama growing up we called it Coke no matter what you were getting.
