What are your favorite iTunes Apps?

Saw we had an Android Market thread so here's the iTunes thread!

Correct me if I am wrong, most apps in the iTune store can be used on any Apple product right? ie, iPhone, iPad, iPod.

So let's keep the discussion away from the games, please.

This is what I have on my iPhone. I only get FREE apps. I pay enough on my phone bill every month, LOL.

My favorite ones are:

Facebook (of course)

Foursquare-where you check into places-some places have coupons. For example, at Chilli's get a chips and salsa for free or at Express $15 off $60, just SO many places!

I have Groupon and Living Social, I check those deals daily.

Those are probably the only apps I really LOVE and use at least once a day.

These I only use maybe once a week:

Checkpoints and Shopkick-both apps you scan items when you are at the store and you get points, you redeem those points for many different kinds of gift cards. My ONLY gripe with these 2 is since it uses the camera to scan it can drain my battery pretty quickly. But really when shopping with my 3 kiddos I don't really have time to walk around finding these items.

Scandit and thefind-scan an item and see it's price in other places.

What are your favorites and please mention if they were free or how much you paid. I love playing around with new apps, I can't wait to download some of your favs!

Also, IF you have an iPad what are your favorite apps on that, my iPad2 is on its way!

I love Pandora.

I use facebook a lot.

HuffPo

I use a few google apps, but my favorite right now is google translator. Not only I can I type in things and get a written or spoken translation, I can speak and get it spoken back. I love that.

Sparkpeople, though I'm not using it as much as I used to. It's very convenient for tracking food consumption and activity.

I use the Dictionary.com app allllllll the time.

Oh, and photobucket.

Hipstamatic photo editing.

I use a bank app for managing money and paying bills.

I love the Congress In Your Pocket app. It lists all the big political players-- Congress, Senate, and House. It has their contact information including phone numbers and emails as well as links to their facebook pages and relevant YouTube videos, plus campaign information, and there is a search feature for more stuff. I love it.

Local news channel app.

The Weather Channel. On either of these apps, I can easily pull up the weather radar and/or get severe weather alerts.

A unit conversion app.

NPR

All Recipes

YouTube. I love that I can not only search and watch videos, but upload video from my phone straight onto YouTube.

And several unmentioned games and timesucks.

All but Hipstamatic and Congress In Your Pocket (which, from what I understand, is free for Android users) were free. I paid $.99 each for those two, but I am using up some iTunes gift cards I got for Christmas. I'll happily pay for apps with someone else's money.

My kids jammed my iPhone on a iHome speaker I have and bent up the connection thingy...so my phone is in the shop and it is costing me a small fortune to fix :(. I have an unlocked iPhone and to get a new one is expensive, so repair it is.

When I get it back I will post my fav apps.

Oh no! I have a friend whose son dropped a hand weight on her phone and cracked the screen-$250 to fix!!!!! Crazy!!!!!

I have an ipod touch 4th generation and I have found that alot of the apps for iphone work on it.

Coupon Cash - store lists w/ coupon match ups for LOTS of stores
Home routines - if you follow FlyLady..its set up like her cleaning plan
Garden Tracker (free)
Words with Friends (free version)
Daily Bible verses (by Kavapoint.com) (free)
Co-pilot - GPS ($$$)

I love word games! My fave is Boggle (.99 cents) and Scrabble (free).
I paid for Boggle beacuse I have a computer version that won't work on new computer and really missed it. It has been well worth it!! Great time waster!LOL
I did just download some "coupon " ones. Coupsmart was only one that did me any good.
I live in a rural area and foursquare and others don't sem to have much for my area.

LOL, Just thought of one I LOVE! Cozi! It's a calendar that you can sync with your computer and any apple device as long as you can add the app. It can also sync with Flylady if you do that, like I do! I LOVE how I can add something and DH can add something and we will both see it! We were always making conflicting appointments-NOT anymore!

I like Weather+ (.99, I think, it was on sale). It's better than the weather channel IMO and you can have multiple locations saved to check the weather.

ShopShop (free), a shopping list. I like that it's easy to use, and you can have multiple stores' lists saved and add or delete items easily.

Facebook is one of my favorites too.
