You can't have anything nice when you have kids!!

Maybe it's been so long I've repressed the memories, but I can't think of anything major the kids destroyed. Those daredevils seemed to do the most damage to themselves and took years off my life in the process.

Same for me Smee - I couldn't recall anything either but I clearly remember saying many times "if we'd had this one first she would have been the only one."

And while we're talking about stunts, we are semi-rural on a dead end road with a big yard and trees and I really thought I was an attentive mom even when I let them play outside without constant supervision when they got bigger. However lately the girls have been telling me a few stories about some things they did when they were young - nothing really bad (yet!) but stuff like eating frosting right out of the tub and climbing up in to the rafters of the garage (where humongous spiders live) and it makes me wonder "how did I miss that?" Twits.

My son also did the terrorizing of the kitchen when he would wake up before us. I remember one time he had a skillet on the floor and had broken eggs in the pan & around the pan on the floor. Same day he took the tub of margarine & greased all the kitchen windows and window sills - little brat !!

I can't really remember anything that the kids have destroyed either. The only two things that come to mind was DD decided to cut her hair when she was 3. Luckily I caught her in time. She just took a tiny bit off her bangs but was just about to give her big brother a new haircut.

One time (I think she was 3) she climbed up on our bathroom sink and got out some baby tylenol and opened it herself. I caught her just before she started to pour it in her mouth! She was something else when she was little lol.

ok, if we're gonna talk about poop... my daughter had just learned to crawl she was not fast because she didn't have it figured out quite yet. We were in the living room when the cat had a little wet messy accident. I went into the next room to grab a cloth to clean it with and when i walked back there was my little darling eating it! She was slow as a turtle any other time but there let there be yummy cat poop on the floor and she's fast as a rabbit.
