Anyone have an iPad; ?? about printing q's....

We're planning on getting the new iPad on March 11th but may end up disconnecting our home internet service if we go with the Verizon package for wifi which means I'll no longer be able to print IP's from our home laptop or office computer.

DH brought it to my attention that I may not be able to print at all from the iPad....not sure if he's correct?

If you have an iPad can you print bricks or smartsource q's (assuming it's connected to a printer)?? Thanks!!

I just got an (original) iPad from a contest about a week ago. So far, no I can't print from it. I read you can either sync it on your computer in iTunes and maybe print or you may be able to download an app for whatever wifi printer you have. It seems like it is a work around at best and I don't think I'm gonna be able to print coupons from it any time soon. I have 4 computers at home so I am not in a big hurry to fix it. HTH

First, I wanted to say that Stacy, I'm sooo jealous that you won an ipad!

Second, here's an article I found about it. It looks very difficult to do. You may have to skip an ad at the beginning. The skip button is in the upper right corner.

You may be able to work around and print from your Ipad, but you might not necessarily be able to print Bricks coupons from it. I believe most printable coupons require some kind of flash plugin to be installed in your computer before printing or at least a lot websites you get the coupons from have flash that you have to click through to get to them , and Ipads do not support flash.

At least I think...you should confirm that if you really plan on converting to just the Ipad. I personally wouldn't rely on it being an appropriate substitution for your home comp. Too many websites run flash and it would make them unaccessable for you.

I don't have an iPad (yet I am soooo wanting one though, saving those pennies!) but have you considered not getting the Verizon wifi plan and keeping your home internet connection? How often would you use the wifi plan?

Also I don't know if you can do this with an iPad but with my iPhone I can hook my iPhone to my computer and use my wifi plan from my phone on my computer (laptop, have not tried it with my desktop). I don't have Verizon/AT&T though...so maybe that is unique to my plan or black market phone. LOL

Hmmmmm, IDK if we could do that....right now, we only have the 3G package for my iPhone....hmmmm, well, chances are we're going to get it regardless maybe I can convince my husband that we NEED home internet still, LOL. TY so much everyone!!

Hi. I am a newbie here and have an IPhone and a New Ipad2 that I sold stuff at consignment shops for months to buy but got it. I got an app called "Print and Share" and it is unbelievable, so easy to set up, they actually respond to you online within one hour if you have trouble 24/7. It seems to work with any wifi printers. Believe me if I could set it up you can too. But as of right now I don't know of anything that will allow me to print my coupons right from IPad because it will not let me download the Coupon Printer. That all the sites want. Big disappointment because I love how small this is and convenient and I had planned on printing from it. But in the iPad forum it sounds like something is going to work soon.
