How much are Girl Scout cookies where you live?

I assumed that the price was pretty much the same everywhere - evidently not.

I was struck with sudden GS nostalgia when I saw the cookie stand outside of Publix, and as a former cookie champion (sold 6000+ boxes three years in a row - bowing) I had to indulge the little darlings. Last year the price per box was $3.50. DH paid and told me the price when we got to the car - $4.50!!!!

I about passed out. To be honest, I would not have bought if I'd known they'd gone up a dollar. I'm charitable, but geez....$4.50 for a box of cookies??? You should be able to claim those boogers as a tax deduction in a few years they'll be so expensive!

How much are they in your neck of the woods? One of DH's coworkers in Orlando said that she only paid $3.50 a box...what gives???

$3.50 a box here in Iowa, but that can differ even just from Unit to Unit. One year, they were .50 more a box just about 45 miles away. I ordered some from a neighbor girl. Also, bought some from a stand today. I told DH next year I am just going to donate to the troop, they only get like .50 a box from those sales.

I live in Missouri and just bought some today outside of Walmart. :( They were $4 a box. I bought Peanut Butter Patties and there were 15 in the box!! CRAZY!

Wow! I just assumed they were the same price everywhere. My dd is selling GS cookies and they are $3.50 here in Jackson, Tn.

My DD sells and they were $3.50 last year and this year. We are the cheaper of the Michigan councils I believe. Other locals are $4.

It wouldn't make me so sick about the price going up each year if they didn't shrink the box size also.

I am in the Tampa area and my daughter is selling them.. They are $3.50 a box... I can't believe $4.50 a box, wow..

When I sold cookies so so long ago they were .50 a box. I thought it was great when my Nana would buy 10 boxes.

My neighbor's troop is selling them for $3.50/box here outside of Philadelphia, but she said other local troops decided themselves to sell them for $4.00/box.
