How much are Girl Scout cookies where you live?

As a cookie mom/girl scout leader... here in Ohio, our council is charging 3.50 a box. Here each troop gets .50/.55 cents a box in profit deciding on whether or not the troop wants the incentives for selling.....

I bought a case of Somoas for 42.00 with free shipping--so 3.50 a box. We put them in the freezer and it takes us 8 months to eat them.

$3.50 a box here in my neck of the woods in Wyoming. We bought 20 boxes from 4 different Girl Scouts because we just cannot say no to those cute little gals out there in the snow and cold dragging their moms and dads door to door in the freezing cold. The Samoas are my favorite...yum. DH likes the Thin Mints.

I do think it is crazy that the troop gets so very little of the money from the sales of the cookies though.

They're 3.50 here as well. Usually I never buy, just donate money to the troop, but DD9 just joined GS and I had to buy a few boxes. I almost passed out when I saw the price!
