Swagbucks - how to decide which is smartest?

I was thinking about how to best use what I cash-in on Swagbucks but I've got an interesting decision and I'd love to hear your thoughts.
If I cash-in at 450 points I get a $5 Amazon gift card which of course is only usable on Amazon online. If I wait until 700 points I get a $5 Paypal card which is cash. The real difference occurs if I wait until 2250 points then I get 5 $5 Amazon gift cards but only 3 $5 Paypal cards which is a loss of $10.
So - if I want to get the extra $10. then I need to use it on Amazon which will then cost me shipping for whatever I buy which takes away the profit. And most of what I buy doesn't qualify for the free shipping - if it did then there'd be no question.
But also - I get so many things in my local 99 cent store (NYC has the BEST 99 cent stores!) that might cost me 5 times as much on Amazon even if the shipping was free.
So - except if I know that there is something that I'm only able to get on Amazon - do you think that it is better to take the cash and lose the $10.?

I always use my swagbucks for the $5 amazon, but I have been using it for diapers, so I haven't had to pay shipping on anything yet!

You bring up a good point! I think for you it might be better to do the paypal.

Get the Amazon codes and then trade them for cash here in our trading forums. =)

How often have you shopped on amazon in the last few months? Sometimes you can get really great deals on amazon occasionally so personally I would go with amazon, and I occasionally like to buy obscure things that are impossible to find at local stores.

I only ever do the amazon gift codes. Even after using it for Christmas my balance is still $75.00.
