I've been toying with the idea of doing a local restaurant blog targeted to families on a budget. I'd like to explore local, non-chain type places and give people the best options for spending their hard-earned money. It kinda sucks when you can only go out to eat once a month or so, get there and the place is crap....feels like a total waste!

I want to pay special attention to places that are friendlier to babies, toddlers, and preschoolers...like are there changing tables in the bathrooms? Have the highchairs been cleaned in this decade? Kids menu? etc.

Any advice or experience with this? I've never blogged before, so I really don't know where to start. Whatcha think?
