for school to start next week!!!

OK...honestly, I only have one here at home, and she's 15. BUT...most of her friends have ALOT more money than we do, and they all went on "winter vacations" over the break. Must be nice, huh? So, she's been stuck here at home with us. And we're a little older than most of her friends' parents too. Yes, I work...but I don't even go into work until 4pm, so we're home together all day. She's bored, and I'm aching for some "alone time"!!

Monday...they go back!!!! I'm off work...and so is my hubby!! I think we'll plan a breakfast date to celebrate! Then on Tuesday...I'll have the house to myself!! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!

I'm always ready to send my kids back to school!! lol What's really bad is the days where I pick them up at 3:10 at school and they immediately start squabbling with each other and by 3:20 I'm ready to send them back. Luckily those days are few and far between.

The past 2 days have actually been better than the beginning of the week but I think that's because DH has been home and they're tired of hanging out with just mom!!

Monday is dh's regular day off and he always comes up with a strange array of errands that he thinks I need to go with him, so I'm so looking forward to Tuesday morning too!

Same here sisters! Glad for the quads to go back to school and the twins to preschool.

They go to our church's school; and so this is what hubby calls "One Stop School Shopping! No coupons involved--just sibling discounts!"

I want my schedule back hopefully!

I was just telling my DH that I am not ready for the kids to go back to school. The past 2 weeks went by so fast!!! We had a lot of fun, I am just not ready for it to end quite yet. Once school starts then things get hectic again with homework, sports and everything so the only real family time we get is dinner time and weekends.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but ME TOO. We've really had a pretty nice holiday and I was just thinking I can't believe how fast it flew by. I have really been enjoying sleeping in and I am dreading our Tuesday morning date with the school bus. We did go on one of those winter vacations and that kept us busy, though.

I have two kids 4 and 16 and boy I can't wait for that Yellow school bus to come at 6:45am on MOnday morning. My kids were off 14 and 15 do to snow and then there last day was the 22 we got 14 inches of snow on Christmas (was nice to have a white Christmas)but the kids have been inside all the time cause they can't do anything outside. (yes the roads still have ice on them)so I can't wait for the bus to come. The bad thing is I have been home with them cause I did not have to work this week.
