I have seriously considered buying the "Clean all the things!" t shirt or a mug.

I have the Shark. I started with the basic one which had the pads that stuck with velcro. But my enthusiastic cleaning caused the handle to come loose. Plus the pads falling off was a big pain.
So I upgraded to the model that has three changeable heads and pads that fit over them completely. You can use both sides of the pads too which cuts down on the number you need. The cord is extra long too and it holds more water.
I really like it. No cleaning solution needed, just tap water. And the pads are machine washable. My advice would be to buy at Bed, Bath, and Beyond with one of their percentage off coupons. That's the best deal I've found on this particular model. I think it was just over $100 after coupon when I got mine.
I found Motivated Moms about a year ago. I really liked the set up and the general idea. I didn't agree with the frequency of most of the listed chores. So I made my own. The schedule I created includes a Daily List and then I divided jobs into different times; weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc and scheduled what days were assigned to each chore. Some days I have an hour of cleaning and some days it is two. When I follow it, the system works amazing and my house is visitor-ready at most times (with the exception of toys everywhere!). I didn't do anything but the basics over the past week because I have been sick and my house is officially destroyed.
I deal with clutter everyday-if I don't it gets to be too much.
DH and I's laundry-Monday
Dust and Clean showers-Wednesday evening
Strip beds, wash towels (we let dry and reuse)-Thursday morning
Rest of baths, and Kitchen-Thursday afternoon
Vac-right when DH gets home from work on Thurs (our 6 month old is scared of the vac and needs someone to be close by since he freaks out)
Mop-Thursday evening
Thurs sometime during the day-DH and I's laundry again (sometimes I think my DH is secretly a teen girl with the amount of laundry he creates-lol).
Baby laundry -everyday
Sadly, I do have a beautiful built in bookcase in my living room that only gets dusted 2-3 times a year-it's floor to ceiling with a ton of books and nicknacks and it is a MAJOR pain to take everything off to clean it. My ceiling fans look a bit scary too-I honestly forget about them being there, so they don't get dusted near as much as they should.
I clean every day for hours and at night. I can't stand dirt and my house is visitor ready all the time. I don't understand how a maid could help clean house unless they lived here. I can't afford one and wouldn't get one anyway because I want everything perfect. A house gets dirty every day, and I have always been neat so a schedule cleaning does not work for me. It is great for those of you that it works for, and I wish it would work for me. If you clean evlery day it is much easier than leaving it till the next week. I don't clean my tubs and showers daily, I used to but I do give them a rinsing out with cleaner and a scrub several times a week. Mirrors get cleaned at least once daily. The sink gets shined all day long in the kitchen. My husband really appreciates it because he doesn't like dirt either. He loves and appreciates all that I do. he cleans for a living so he understands how much work it takes but he doesn't make me do it. I have been this way since birth.
Please pray for my family.

I used to be really particular about cleaning the first 10 years of living on my own....Dust, vaccumm, baseboards, doors, everything once a week. Now I just do what I want...when I want, no particular schedule..I learned it's a task you can't beat, so give up the fight every now and then and enjoy life :)
If it isn't free.....it isn't for me!
