Did we get an offer or a legal scam?

Trust me you don't want to deal with Mary Jones Projects. We got caught up in the deal with her. The contract read that MJ Projects would Lease our house while they look for buyers, have the utilities turned on, keep the maintenance up on the house and make sure the yard was kept up. Find buyers and help them get financing. We were moving out of the state of Florida and we were desperate to get some one to take care of the house. That was in November and 21 days from the date of vacancy she would send us a check or sooner. We vacated the house on Nov. 12 and complied with everything she ask us to do. From taking all for sale signs out of the yard, taking it off of the market and putting a lock box on the door with the keys in it, taking pictures of the house inside and out put them on a cd and sending it to her. I have kept in contact by email this whole time. All of this is in the contract that they and we signed. They do not have a physical address only a P.O. Box. Which is, as I found out illegal from the Florida State Department of Corporations. This is March and nothing has been paid as of today. The utilities were never turned on, the yard was never taken care of. I went down there last week, there was mold in the bathrooms and refrigerator and the yard was over grown. I had to have the utilities turned back on, hired someone to do the yard and clean everything. Then I went to see an attorney. May not do any good to recuperate the $6,200.00 that she owes us, but at least I will have peace of mind knowing she has someone on her tail that will legally know what to do and how to get her out of business. She is a BIG SCAM ARTIST. DO NOT DEAL WITH HER OR HER SO CALLED PARTNERS. I have a feeling that these people are doing this sitting back and waiting for these properties to go into foreclosures and they are grabbing them up with what the bank will sell them for. JUST SAYING.

I also entered into contract with MJ Projects/Mary Jones. Do not do this. I also signed up in March 20096 and payments are never on time. You can not get them by phone and they hardly ever reply to email if they do it is not ever with a direct answer usually has nothing to do with the email I sent!!!!! At first all is good after 2nd month not so good. They now owe me for December and January:( I frequently have payments lost in mail and they send it Priority mail with tracking # and they won't provide the # to you LOL

You are one of the lucky ones you got a couple of payments some of us are getting nothing.
