I've been in a car accident...please pray for me.

I was in an accident yesterday. My Tahoe was parked on an incline, facing downward, and I had the parking brake engaged. I was leaving, so I got back in the car, cranked it, tried to release the brake but it would release. I unbuckled, opened the driver side door and halfway stepped out so I could see better undernear the steering column where the release lever is. I popped it and it did release this time. But I was halfway out the vehicle, holding on to the steering wheel and one leg in, one leg out. It starting ROLLING WHILE IN PARK. This is at least a 45 degree drop, and I was dragged alongside the truck for about 200 feet. I crashed into a concrete column, wedging my car in between two others at the bottom of the hill. I creamed the car on my left, which meant that I was pinned between the two cars. I managed to slide out and call my husband, the police, etc. I went to the hospital, and I have a concussion, road rash all up and down my left side where I was dragged, but that's all. It is a tremendous blessing that there were no kids around because someone else could easily have been killed. Thank God.

Anyhow, at this point, I am very tired, very sore, and my head is hurting. I feel like any weird kind of thing that CAN happen is going to happen for me. Whose vehicle rolls while it's in park? COME ON. I have other medical issues as well...I just don't need this right now. And the poor woman whose car I creamed...I've never apologized to anyone as much in my whole life. I felt awful for her.

Thank you for your prayers. I also have a blog which is going to suffer because I just can't get the stuff done for it like I would like, and I won't be here much for a few days, that's for sure. Again, I would really appreciate your prayers and good thoughts. Thank you.
