I don't even know what they are. :shrug7:
So, my kids want these things... bad.
And it seems everyone is sold out... so I stooped to Ebay (yes, I am occasionally one of THOSE mothers, lol).
As far as I can tell, they are cheap plastic things. What is the BIG DEAL????
How much do they USUALLY run? I just paid $6 per pack (shipping included) of 24....
ANyone else's kid(s) going nuts over these things?

I've never seen them personally but from their website it looks like they are just colorful, shaped rubberbands.

Well - my kids haven't gone nuts, but some of their friends have and apparently they are being sold kid-to-kid around school for anywhere between $.50-$1 each!!
Think of a more flimsy jelly bracelet like Madonna used to wear. Now turn it into the shape of an animal/dinosaur/whatnot.
Yah, the silly bands are really popular everywhere... even in college.I mean, I can't lie... I have one (shaped like a kitty cat) that my friends gave me. I'm not crazy about them but I can see how they would be cool to collect.
I've seen them at CVS, though. Maybe try there?
Sidenote: I used to be one of those young entrepreneur kids in middle school. I can't believe I'm admitting this, but I used to crochet hacky sacks, and kids would buy them for a couple of bucks. I'd make them according to the size and colors they wanted, too. The boys liked to play with them and I liked to make them!
My kids love these too. We have found them at Hallmark and CVS. They run 4.99 a package.
