Please say a prayer for my mom.Yesterday she broke her leg right at her knee.Update in post #19

It will be by the grace of God that I make it thru this with my mom.My dad has spent the week-end with me, so he want have to be home alone.Between his pacing the floor & my son's mood swings.I am about to pull my hair out.My dad paces when he is at home before, my mom broke her leg.It is something he does.But it drives me insane.

I am so sorry to hear this. I will keep your Mom and you and the rest of your family in my prayers. I understand what you are going through because last year my Mom broke her leg and both wrists at the same time. She also was going through chemo for breast cancer. I helped take care of her. It is hard but she is very blessed to have you.

I am so sorry to hear this news - I am sending you many positive thoughts. If your dad cannot care for your mom, it is possible that she could go to a skilled nursing facility for rehab prior to going home.

Update:
The nurse got my mom up today.They put her in the reclining chair with her leg proped up for about 3 hours today.It was the first time she had been out of the bed sence thursday evening.I was happy to see her out of the bed.She eat some solid food today.They are supose to take her to a nursing care home this week for therpy rehab.She will stay there about 3-4 weeks.
It was hard picking a place for my mom to stay ,due to I had worked at a couple of the nursing homes that had spots open.The one place that I had worked an knew they were great with there patients did not have a room for her.I picked one that my dad had used 2 yrs ago when he fell off a latter & hurt his back.They were good but, not my first choice.

Nice to hear that your mom got out of bed today. That's always a good sign! Still keeping you and your family in my prayers! BTW...I work at a nursing home now, and have worked at another in the past. I know what you're talking about!

Thank you XUfan for your prayers.From working in a nursing home you know how hard it is to find a good one.I have worked at 2 different nursing homes one was great with the patients the other one I would not put my worst friend in.
Mom got transfered to Emerald Ridge Nursing yesterday.They will start therpy today.
I should feel a little better because she is there but, I am so stressed out.

I have so much going on in my life right now.That it something else was to go wrong in my life I would probley explode.

Everyone please keep praying for me & my mom.

Update:
It's been 2 weeks sence mom had her surgery.The leg scare is healing well.They are doing 2 -3 hrs of therpy a day.She can move from her bed to the wheel chair with limited help.She is good spirits.I am finally getting some rest.I did my first big shopping trip last night.

Please keep praying for my family.
