    Default Organizing hair supplies

I have two girls with long hair and so we have the typical assortment of barrettes, clips, hair ribbons, rubber bands, headbands, etc. They are all a big mess.

Today I was looking through the Disney Fun magazine and I saw a cute organization idea for headbands. They said take a medium sized oatmeal container (empty) and put colored duct tape around the tube part. Then they said you could put your head bands on it and use the inside for rubber bands and barrettes. It is a cute idea for the head bands but I need something different to organize the barrettes so that I can see them and match them up. Anyone have any good ideas?

I have long hair (down to my butt now). I use one of those 12 pair shoe organizers and have it hanging on the bathroom door. It holds almost everything. It has clear pockets, so I can see what is in there without having to dig around. For barrettes you could take ribbon or a shoelace and clip them on there in pairs and hang it. That is what I did when I was little. I still remember it. I had so many that I had a hanger with about 15 long ribbons on it. On each ribbon I had many pairs of barrettes. I collected them. HTH
