    My furnace broke

I'm sorry i am here complaining again. I am just so frustrated in life right now in general. I just needed to complain to someone since you all are the only friends i have other than family. Yea, i have no friends because i up rooted my life for hubby and moved to a new state. Different story.

My real vent is that it's cold and my furnace broke last night around 7:30pm. My house is 107 years old and does not hold heat well. So there has to be a reason for all of these problems to keep happening to our family.

Dh loss job got hired at different job
Dh has dwindled down on work hours
mortgage went sky high- nothing can be done
all the dental & our health bills piled up
    Now my furnace is broke.
    Were broke
Car broke and had to get $200 fixed into it. Driving w/ no spare. That's another $200
Then my husband has decided to get depressed over all of this and can't deal with it. So i have to deal with him. It's like taking care of another kid. I've battled depression 3x in my life. You never get fully over it, but i learned to deal with it. Anyhow just stress in life i suppose.

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE: At least spring is getting closer, but we have been known to get snow on Easter.

Thanks for letting me vent, just had to get it out somewhere.

Oh girl, reading your OP was like reading a short story of part of my life. I am so sorry for all you're going thru and I can relate/understand! I wish I could help, though, but we have our own sob stories. Just know that there are people who care and who are thinking about you.

As for the snow on Easter, I moved to NE in Aug of last year and was hoping there wouldn't be snow on Easter but have heard there could be. Oh well.

When you do buy a new furnace, what kind will you be going with? We need to replace the one in our rental & there are so many choices.
Anyone just love their heating system?
I'd appreciate your prayers during a very hard transition in my life. TYVVM

Too bad you're not closer. We just replaced our fully-functioning furnace and air conditioning unit with a ground source heat pump. So our working furnace and air conditioner both were junked because we didn't have a way to haul them anywhere. The contractor for the heat pump offered to junk them for us just to get them out of here.

    God is good to us

Somehow hubby figured out what it was and he got the part for $57.00 Then he fixed it. I was happy that something went right for once.

HUGS to you!! I was coming here to post to your original post, but so glad I read the rest! I'm so happy for you that it was taken care of...and so cheaply!

See...this is another reason you should have stayed here! My hubby could have fixed that for you!! LOL!
