Homemade chicken noodle soup with veggies, Swedish meatball subs, and homemade blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream, sweet tea, and milk for kiddos.

You can order direct from Bob's Red Mill and I do order from them too.

Last night I made the meatless creamy baked ziti. Pretty good-it's another keeper. Tonight I think we are going to have leftovers because the fridge needs cleaning once again. DS got Valentine's cookies made last night too because they were 0.99 at LF. He was excited!

Supper tonight is going to be AMAZING!!!!! I'm taking my husband to our favorite restaurant for his birthday. I'll be starting out with some feta spinach rolls, then a bowl of beer cheese soup with popcorn (alongside their house flat breads), then a house salad, and then I'll be having blackened, grilled salmon smothered in whatever sauce of the day they have for me today (they usually make my favorite raspberry chipotle bbq), with grilled chayote squash (that I'll have two halves of because I'll swap hubby for his and give him my pierogies). Then I'll have one of whatever the dessert of the day may be... :) YUMMY!!! My mouth is watering already, and our reservation isn't until 5:30.

I'll order pizza and cheese bread for the kids and my folks to have while we're out enjoying our chef-prepared meal. :p Aren't I nice?

I'm thinking beef vegetable soup tonight but possibly chili here too. It's a pretty big roast though - maybe I could make a small batch of both. I haven't made soup yet this winter but we never get tired of chili. Hmmm.

cbms - Happy birthday to your hubby and hope yall have a great time at dinner.

foodie - what other kind of tea is there besides "sweet" tea?

DH drinks sweet tea with Splenda. I hate the stuff personally because I worked in restaurants for years making the stuff. The smell of it brewing makes me nausea. I love green tea or herbal hot tea but not sweet tea.
