Snow, glorious Snow!

We have at least 15" or 16" here and its still snowing. We moved here (PA) from CT and today when I look out the window, its like we're living there today. Hopefully this cements at white christmas for us.

*Super Pout* There's no snow here. Unless there is a "miscalculation of the storm path" we're only expected to get a 2 inch dusting. I LOVE the snow!

We had about 17 inches earlier,(2 pm??) and it snowed for several more hours after we were outside measuring it. I'd say its close to 24 inches now. Its just light flurries now.

Its eerily quiet on the Beltway and US 1 here in No.Va. We are so used to all the traffic noise and sirens...and its been super QUIET!

Our dd is coming in on Monday from FLA, she is so excited to see the snow. She's only been in snow twice in her life. This is the most she or dh has ever seen. Me...I grew up off of Lake Michigan, so we always had lake effect snow storms.

I am in Asheville,NC we have about 14 inches plus.It's the most snow we have had sence the blizzard of 1993.

I'm in Clyde. Lost electric Friday 6:23pm just came on today around 4:15pm. No electricity no heat. No way for me to walk out, physically unable. Stayed put and bundled up. At least still had water. Next winter I will have a little kerosene heater.

Transformers were blowing all around, weird beautiful blue green light. The loud pops weren't so nice.

We ended up with 28 inches. Beautiful, but now it's just annoying me :)

It's 50+ degrees where I live (WA State). I want some snow! Will head to the mountains for the new year so I can at least play in it then.
