We had to put our beloved Newman to sleep yesterday :(

Newman had a stroke over the weekend. He couldn't move below his shoulders, had no control over his bowels/bladder. The vet said there wasn't anything they could do so we had to make the decision. Our last act of love for him was to end his suffering. My daughter took it very hard, but we know he is in a better place.:sad:

So sorry for your loss. We are going through the same thing right now. We had to put our family dog down who we had for 16 years on Monday. It is a very hard thing to do. You and your family are in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how very hard that was, because we had to put down our precious 10 year pomeranian on Oct. 3. I still miss him every single day. The energy in the house is so different now. I know that he is no longer suffering, but he is so very missed. Take it day by day and know that he loved you dearly.
