Anyone really supersitious?

My ex-husband was...but I'm not! My very first date EVER was on Friday the 13th! My cousin was born on Friday the 13th.

I'd better not be superstitious!! My Xavier Musketeers open their 2009-10 season tonight!!

I'm not superstitious but .....
My cousin Lisa was born on Friday the 13th and died on Friday the 13th (and no it wasn't the same day) She did die of SIDS when she was little though, I never met her.:sad:

Today everyone's paycheck's didn't come through direct deposit yet and it is the 13th

But no I am not superstitious but it seems like I should be, lol.

Things happen for a reason it just seems strange sometimes.

No problems with the 13th here...DH considers 13 to be his lucky number so much so that it is embedded in one of the tatoos on his shoulder. He also chose it to be his number on his football jersey.

Nope, not superstitious about friday the 13th! After all, both me and my older dd were born on a friday the 13th......lucky for us!

shelleyf: that's weird, our paycheck didn't go through direct deposit either today! I'm still trying to find out where it is! I don't recall this happening anytime within the last 10+ years!

But, other than that the rest of my day is just as bad so far. I was late getting up and getting ds to school on time. Then, my dog pooped in the floor! He has NEVER had an accident in the house and we've had him about 6 months. Then my mom called and was rushing her dog to the vet with some problem where he is crying/whining constantly.

I think I may go back to bed for awhile and then get up and start over! :)

Im not supersticious *sp* but today is not my day. I was just told by my case manager for my apt., that if my place doesn't get cleaned up, then I'm facing the first process of eviction :( Oh well I'm moving soon anyway.

It's possible that the Veteran's Day holiday slowed down the direct deposits at your banks. My payday is on Wednesday, and it's always late when there's a Monday holiday. Normally, it's in by noon, though.

The only time I am supersitious is when my NY GIANTS are playing. I have to wear the same Giants shirt on game day. This season, I have worn my NY GIANTS football jersey .....and for those games....they lost. Back to the t-shirt for me....

I'm with you on this one!!! I once heard an announcer say that it doesn't matter how the guys play...the only thing that matters is that someone, somewhere in this country is sitting in exactly the right spot on thier couch, eating the right snacks, and wearing the right shirt. Everyone laughed...but that was ME they were describing!
