Hi guys;

Please pray for me and my family ... We are going through a very tough patch, and at this point I am not sure if we are going to make it at all. A few weeks ago DH's Dad passed away and it has been downhill, tumbling down since. Yesterday morning he told me he wanted to live separately for a while ... it scares every single living cell in me, we have been together for almost ten years ... and I really want to keep our family. It will never be the same but I do not want to become 'it will never be' statistics. It hurts me badly he shut me out of his life so suddenly, I cannot help him with his grieving, as he is away now ... I am losing my mind here. :sad:

Sorry to hear about all of this going on. This happened to us a few years ago, both of my dh parents passed away in a matter of a year or so, and it was his dad that hit him really hard. He never left, but he shut himself out of everything, and had a bad drinking problem for a year or 2 after that. Things hit rock bottom there for a long time, but now things couldn't be better. (We were together about 10-11 years at the point) we just celebrated our 13th anniversary the other day. I will be praying for you and your family. Just give him some time, I am sure that has to be rough. Hope everything works out for you.

You are in my prayers. I know it will get better for you. Your husband is just in a lot of grief and doesn't realize what he is doing to you. I know you are scared and I pray for comfort for you.
