 Please pray for my kids tonight
I don't normally post here but my kids need an extra boost for tomorrow.
A little background info....my DS and DD's dad went to Cancun 2 years ago in October for vacation. As per the vacation package, at the airport they hooked up with a driver to take them to the resort along with another couple who were on their honeymoon. We found out later the driver wasn't licensed to drive, was tired, whatever....anyway, he lost control of the van and Dad and Stepmom along with the newleywed husband were killed in a rollover accident. Dad was killed instantly and SM died at the hospital. My kids have been reeling ever since. At the time, my kids were 18 and 21. My DD being next of kin for dad had to communicate all decisions to Mexican consulate...it was a nightmare for her.
The family has filed a wrongful death suit against the company they booked the vacation through and tomorrow my kids have to attend court ordered mediation. They are so young and don't really know what's going to happen but according to some friends of mine in the legal department at work, all the details of the accident are going to be discussed and I'm just so fearful of how my kids are going to react having to hear them.
Please pray for them tonight that they handle it well, they just want the case to be over with and get on with the healing. They are having such a hard time with the idea of having a price put on the death of their father.

God bless for you and your children through this very difficult time in their lives. I hope things work out ok for them tomorrow. It is very painful to have to dig up the past when they are trying to get their head around it and move on.
