Default Do "thin/tiny/small" girl BDU's exist?!

First - sorry mod's if this is the wrong place!?

I need to find, get or buy some small BDU's in navy. I was recently given some std issue pair that are "small" meaning men's. I usually wear a 0,1,2 depending on the brand. Gap - 0, Target 2, Ann Taylor/Loft 1P. I do disaster work (not my everyday job) so I don't need these for everyday wear - just when we get deployed/training. They said they could order me an extra small - but the size isn't much smaller. I looked for children's sizes - but I could only find camo prints - not the solid navy pants.

Do I just have to get them taken in?! Everything they gave me is huge. It is kinda funny. I look like a 5 year old in her daddy's work outfit.

it would probably be cheaper just to have someone take them in for you...you probably need a couple of darts....do you have a uniform store in your area? i had camo bdu's for work that were purchased for me...they were WAAAY to big also...i just had them taken in...i paid i think $9 for the adjustment per pants
and when i say uniform store, i mean either the place where you employer purchased the items or where the police/fire/emts go to get their uniforms...that is the best place to have it done

oh and you probably could find some on the internet at gall's uniforms (maybe i havent looked) but i dont think you will find kids sizes...and if you do, they wont be the quality that you have

I was an EMT before I became a nurse. I was never THAT tiny, but probably a size 4 at the time. After buying BDUs for 30 bucks at the Army surplus and taking them in I ran across some Dickies work pants with cargo pockets at Wal-Mart of all places. They were only 12 bucks I think and kinda cute! They don't have them at All Wal-Mart stores, though. Only the more rural ones. HTH!!!

Galls has some in Navy that go down to a 2 and the reviews say they run small.
