Need help from someone with a calculator!! (pick 'n save)

Hey!!
Today I got my weekly flyer for my local grocery store. I am having trouble figuring out how much this will come out to cost me! If someone could do the math and help me out that would be awesome!!

"Buy any 5 General Mill Cereal at regular price and get $5.00 off instantly at checkout"

I was wondering if someone could tell me what the price per box would be. Thanks so much!!

We would need to know what the regular price of the cereal is...

If it is off the regular price of the cereal, and a sale price is not listed...the only way to know how much it will be would be to go to your local store and find out the price of the cereals (look for the cheapest boxes)

I know where I live, regular price on cereal is $4-5 a box so $5.00 off 5 Boxes would be a savings of only a dollar. Not much of a deal, even if I had a $1.00/1 coupon it would still be $2.00-$3.00 a box. I personally aim for $0.50 or less per box of cereal, maybe a $1.00 for Grape Nuts.

If you could give the name of your local store your chances for help will be much better.

ok according to 2 different websites I found, you should expect to pay about $3 a box before coupons depending on the kinds of cereal you buy. So if you bought 5 x 3 = $15.00 - $5.00 = $10 or $2 a box if no other coupons are used. I hope that helps. Good luck.
